In this article, I'm gonna be sharing a throw back picture of him and his wife Rita Marley during their wedding in 1966, Marley at the age of 21 before he had his dreads, he looks quite handsome and charming. While dying his famous last words to his son was “Money can't buy life” He was very controversial in his support for legalization of marijuana, over all he is a great man in the world of Reggae music and the Jamaican culture and identity. He was a Rastafari icon and he infused his music with a sense of spirituality from the Rastafarian Religion. I'm sure our dads and grand fathers that listened to his songs then when he was still an upcoming artist really enjoyed it as his contributions to music really made him a popular figure in popular culture world wide back then. He was sensational in his own Way with his songs like “Buffalo Soldier”, Talking Blues, could you be loved” without a doubt he was truly a legend. I doubt some of us were even born that time but regardless his works still live. This guy was one of the old schools, he was one of the best of his time, he reigned during the mid 60s to the 70s.
